Unpause Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Unpause account and all the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
How to delete your account
In the app or on unpause.ai (fastest). Sign in, go to Profile → Data & Privacy → Delete my account and data and confirm. Deletion is immediate.
If you can't access your account. Use the contact form at unpause.ai/contact and choose "Delete my account" or "I can't access my account" as the reason. We will verify your identity before acting, so no one else can delete your account, and then delete your account and data within 30 days.
Before you delete
You can download a complete copy of your data, including your journal and check-ins, your conversations with the assistant, your sleep schedule and your consent history, using "Download my data" in Profile → Data & Privacy. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play; cancel that in your app-store settings.
What we delete
- Your account and profile: email, date of birth, menopause stage, username, avatar or photo, and preferences.
- Your journal and wellness entries: sleep, mood, symptoms and habits.
- Your conversations with the assistant.
- Your points.
- Your reminders, notification settings and sleep-schedule preferences.
What we keep, and why
- A minimal record that your deletion request was completed, and anything else the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
- Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you.

Guest users
If you used Unpause as a guest, your data is tied to that guest session and is removed when the session is cleared. Email account-deletion@unpause.ai if you need help.
